Why doesn’t Saitama have hair?

A punch is arguably one of the most popular shonen anime and manga series. Ever since the anime’s release, fans have been wondering why Saitama is bald.

A punch is a show where logic is absent in all aspects. Just as bizarre as the premise of the series is the reason Saitama went bald. This article will tell why the hero lost his hair.

A punch: Why is Saitama bald?

Saitama is the strongest character in One punch man. This individual wanted to become a hero for fun and through a rigorous training routine, he ended up becoming one of the strongest beings the world has ever seen.

The protagonist of A punch was a young man who failed several job interviews. After saving the life of a young boy, he decided to become a hero. In this endeavor, Saitama wanted to improve his stamina and strength.

He persisted with a mind-blowing routine of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and 10 kilometer runs. Apparently this training regimen is the reason he went bald.

When he explained this to Genos, the latter remained stunned. Given his training, he should have great cardiovascular endurance, but ends up having enough strength to easily kill a galactic powerhouse like Boros.

Saitama’s perseverance resulted in stunning strength

Garou is probably one of the most powerful villains after Boros. He is an avid warrior who has spent his entire life perfecting all techniques in various forms of martial arts. On top of that, he spent years training every part of his body to generate so much strength.

He’s clearly trained much harder and longer than Saitama, but his strength is nowhere near Caped Baldy’s level. However, this is why the show gained incredible success and applause. It doesn’t adhere to the same structure as a typical shonen series.

It will be interesting to see how the manga and anime progress and if they introduce a character who could give Saitama a good fight.
